I have tried to use Template Manager of Version 9, but i have a message :

"Unable to write to c:\Documents and Settings\ARCAM\Application Data\ASCON\KOMPAS-3D\9.0\???????? ????????\TemplateManagerDef.ini

This is probably a translation error.

This is an error of code page. It is necessary to edit some values in your system registry.

I Need more Information.
It seems to bee related to the Translation.
All menu names of the template manager are like ?????
I have installed the system on a windows swiss french.

Hello. Run the attached file and reboot your computer after this. After that the program will work OK.

I have downloaded this file and run the reg file.
After reboot the template manager is working ok, but in the windows dialogs i have now Russian characters in place of the latin spйcial characters like й и в а etc.
This is very bad and i need an urgent solution :(

Run the attached file. I think it will help. Such problems appears when you use not only English language on your computer.

Thanks for the solution, but now i have the same problem then before with the template manager.
In Switzerland all the computers are installed with French or German language.
I think that we will have the same problem in all other country's in Europe, except England.
What solution can you propose to get the template manager working without changing global windows settings?

Hello Andrй,

I had have same problems after Hannover Fair on the PC, that was used by Vladimir.
Now I have installed a Win XP German / English and have only problems with Russion named files.
But I think that's a really problem in European Countries, where people don't have English Win versions.

You can not force the users to change there windows version to use it.
All other Kompas functions are working properly on my Swiss French Windows XP, so it should also be possible to have the template manager working.

Hi Andrй.
Current version of KOMPAS-3D now completely supports English Language Operating Systems Windows 2000 and Windows XP. KOMPAS also support other Operating Systems in other
languages, but there indeed could be some troubles in Template Manager add-on. These inconvenience to be fixed in next KOMPAS updates.

What settings for regional and language options do you have at your OS? If you have «English (Australia)» try to set «English (United States)». See screenshot.
